　8月限定ベーグルは、今季最後のコーンフロマージュシリーズです。黒胡麻の生地に、自家製みたらしソース、コーンフロマージュにさらに追いコーン。”黒胡麻コーンフロマージュみたらし”。とうもろこし好きのみなさま、ぜひお手に取っていただけると嬉しいです。Our August-exclusive bagel is the last in this season’s Corn Fromage series. It features a black sesame dough topped with our homemade mitarashi sauce, Corn Fromage, and an extra topping of corn. It’s called the “Black Sesame Corn Fromage Mitarashi.” If you love corn, we’d be delighted if you’d give it a try.

　みたらしソースは、西表島純黒糖を使った黒蜜をベースに組み上げています。西表島純黒糖、生醤油、白味噌、キトゥルパ二、昆布粉をブレンド。The mitarashi sauce is made using a base of black sugar syrup made from pure Iriomote Island black sugar. It is a blend of pure Iriomote Island black sugar, raw soy sauce, white miso, kitul honey, and powdered kelp.

　みたらしと言えば”甘じょっぱい”ですが、それだけでは終わりません。出汁の旨味とキトゥパニの厚みのある味わいは力強く印象に残ります。When you think of mitarashi, you think of “sweet and salty,” but there’s more to it than that. The umami of the dashi and the rich, full-bodied flavor of Kituru honey leave a powerful and lasting impression.

　コーンフロマージュのコクのあるミルキーな味わいと溶け合い、まろやかな後味に落ち着きます。とうもろこしの食感と甘く弾ける水分が味に変化を与え、食べる部分によっては主役に。It blends seamlessly with the rich, milky flavor of corn fromage, leaving a smooth, mellow aftertaste. The texture of the corn and its sweet, juicy burst add variety to the flavor, and depending on which part you eat, it can even take center stage.

　黒胡麻はフィリングに寄り添うように香ばしさと、支えるようにコクのある油脂分。リベイクすると生地の食感がサクッと歯切れ良くなるので、こちらもお試しください。Black sesame seeds add a toasty aroma that gently complements the filling, along with a rich, buttery flavor that provides a solid foundation. When you reheat it, the crust becomes crispy and light, so be sure to give that a try as well.
